New iPhone app DroneVR lets you fly DJI drones with a Google Cardboard

Appologics today announces DroneVR, a new app that turns an iPhone into an affordable virtual reality headset for flying drones in first person view (FPV) perspective. The app connects to drones such as the DJI Phantom or Inspire 1 and renders live video from the drone's camera in stereo side-by-side. Together with an affordable virtual reality headset mount such as a Google Cardboard this creates an immersive flying experience at a cost level never possible before.
