Isle of the Kakapo releases RailModeller Pro 6.4

Isle of the Kakapo has rolled out RailModeller Pro, an update to their popular track planning app for macOS. RailModeller Pro offers sophisticated design tools that allow hobbyists to easily design model train, as well as slot car layouts, featuring more than 260 libraries for popular track systems in model scales ranging from T, all the way up to G/IIm, as well as scalable libraries for accessories usable across all model scales. It also offers customizable views of track layouts in both two and three dimensions.

The new version (v6.4) introduces a search feature for locating elements across the entire catalog of track libraries and the active layout document. Additionally, there is a new point editor to review and edit precise point coordinates of line, polygon, and baseboard elements. There is also improved Touch Bar support with many functions throughout the app gaining shortcuts for a streamlined workflow when running on Macs with a Touch Bar. Other changes include a new inspector for text elements, an improved Community Layouts for browsing hundreds of track plans shared by a community of model train hobbyists, as well as other enhancements and other bug fixes. RailModeller Pro is $39.99 USD and can be downloaded from the Mac App Store.
