64BitApps announces the release of PicConvert v.1.2, for Mac that allows users to batch convert, resize and rename their photos with ease. Users will be able to batch convert their photos and RAW image files to various image formats including JPG, JPEG, JPE, JP2, JPX, PNG, TIFF, TIF, GIF, BMP and even newer formats like HEIC or HEIF. Users will be able to change the image quality for the JPG, JPEG, JPE, JP2 and JPX formats. PicConvert also allows users to rename their photos in batch mode so they can be identified more easily at a later time. You can also opt to keep the EXIF information of the original image files.

With PicConvert,  users will also have to possibility to batch resize their photos using either percents or pixels with the option of keeping the original aspect ratio or not. You can also select which of the two dimensions will be considered the width of the photo so that both portrait and landscape images will be resized correctly. PicConvert displays the output size of each image so that users can have a clear view of the result before starting the processing session.

Version 1.2 brings to the table a brand new user interface which now offers support for Dark Mode in macOS Mojave and later, the option to open all the compatible image files directly into the app using the Open With option from the macOS contextual menu and support for the HEIC, HEIF and RAW image formats.
