Noodlesoft announces Hazel 5.1 for macOS

Noodlesoft, LLC introduces Hazel 5.1, a major update to the company's popular housekeeping utility. Hazel watches whatever folders you tell it to, automatically organizing your files according to the rules you create. With Hazel's powerful rule engine, anyone can easily create workflows that keep files organized. Hazel also features options for managing the Trash and includes an intuitive application uninstaller. Keep your files off the desktop and put them where they belong.

Version 5.1 provides support for Apple's most recent update to macOS, Monterey. Beyond compatibility fixes, Hazel allows users to run workflows they create in Shortcuts from rules. Users can now leverage the new power of Shortcuts driven by Hazel's powerful rule engine. This release is also scriptable via AppleScript or JavaScript. Users can now start or stop Hazel, pause or resume folders or enable or disable individual rules via script. Hazel 5.1 is $42 (USD) and can be downloaded from their Website.
