The app offers a natural viewing experience by first displaying the full photograph, and then applying the Ken Burns effect to zoom in on human faces. Users can play the generated video on a connected TV, export it, or share it. The app works over Wi-Fi with many smart TVs, Apple TV, and Chromecast.

“The SlideFlow idea was born in a search for the best way to present photos, especially from mobile devices.” explains Dr. Demid Borodin, VeprIT owner. “Myself, I usually look at the full photo first, and then zoom on human faces (if any) to see them better. This is exactly what SlideFlow is doing, automatically, with a beautiful animation.”

SlideFlow works with:

  • Apple TV
  • Many modern smart TVs, for example Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, and Philips TVs
  • Chromecast
  • Android TV
  • Other devices supporting DLNA or Google Cast

  • Generate beautiful video slideshow with library photos
  • Animate photos using Ken Burns effect
  • Recognize human faces and zoom on them to provide the most natural viewing experience
  • Add music
  • Apply creative effects to the slide photos
  • Play the generated slideshow directly on a TV
  • Save all your slideshow configurations and videos for future quick access

A Fun Cat Piloted, Physics Based Rocket Game Launches

Riada is excited to launch the beautiful Jasper’s Rocket, a new game for iOS and tvOS featuring Jasper the cat. This cat’s got problems. Marooned on a moon where the currency is bananas, Jasper’s rocket wasn’t designed for paws and is horribly fuel inefficient. Luckily, a chain of service stations operated by monkeys accepts bananas for fuel. But just how far can Jasper get on such an alien moon orbiting a gas giant in a remote binary system, while avoiding prowling flying saucers?

A Fun Cat Piloted, Physics Based Rocket Game Launches

* Procedurally generated terrain
* 120 progressively challenging goals
* Fluid, physics based flying in either direction
* Dreamy zen gameplay, visuals and original sound track
* Dynamic lighting from multiple suns, a gas giant and shooting stars
* Game Center integration with high score and best distance leaderboards
* Ever changing weather conditions including thunderstorms, snow and rainbows
* Beautiful nighttime flying with twinkling stars and glowing, gently swaying alien plants
* Includes one plucky black cat, monkeys, flying saucers and timid droids in need of a lift

Jasper’s Rocket is exclusive to iOS and tvOS, and is a Universal Purchase. Written entirely in Swift with SpriteKit, Jasper’s Rocket takes advantage of Game Center, and iCloud for sharing level state across devices. On Apple TV Jasper’s Rocket makes full use of game controllers while also feeling natural and intuitive with the Siri Remote (unless you have paws). The iOS version has a gorgeous sticker pack included.

Jasper’s Rocket 1.0 is $1.99 (USD) available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category.

Captain Temporium for iOS & tvOS is a Classic Shoot’em Up

Independent developer, Mark Hessburg today is proud to announce the release of Captain Temporium 1.0, a classic shoot’em up arcade game developed for iOS devices and Apple TV. Unlike the original classic games Captain Temporium features 3D graphics, yet its gameplay is restricted to a 2D plane.

The game uses techniques like subtle changing the player’s viewing angle to enhance the 2.5D experience based on the motion of the player’s vessel. Nonetheless as a modern game Captain Temporium offers all those features like physically based rendering that you would expect from a state-of-the-art title today. The result is an all new fresh look for the original classic fun of the golden age of video gaming.

“I’ve took the original fun and simplicity of the typical early 1980s arcade style of gaming,” said Hessburg, “and carefully transformed it into a modern game of the 21st century.”

Gameplay follows a simple arcade concept: The player takes control of a futuristic jet and travels trough time to fight biplanes, warbirds, helicopters, jets, rockets and even UFOs. Each level ends with a final opponent (the boss) which is harder to beat than any of the other aircraft. The overall level of difficulty increases as the game progresses by increasing amount of enemies, the cloud cover and overall speed.

Captain Temporium is a classic fast paced shoot ’em all up style arcade game. An evil time traveling empire has altered the fabric of time by invading contemporary history. They’ve taken over our technological achievements, starting with the dawn of flight. Captain Temporium is the last remaining pilot of the temporal air force. She desperately fights the enemy wherever she finds them – in the skies from the early 20th century and on into the future. Now only you can save our history and future. Take control of her time machine and fight the endless onslaught!

Captain Temporium 1.0 is $1.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide through the App Store in the Arcade/Games category.
